We kick off the year 2017 with new technology. Last week Does visited Sober Collective Laserlab in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, to add a laser engraved Does design on a hand painted skate deck.

Laser engraving is a high tech process that uses super powerful light to apply, for example, art to a skate deck. To accomplish this the laser burns away a small layer of wood which leads to a debossed print on the skate deck and which allows the grain of the board to show through.

This skate deck was custom designed by Does for a skate deck collector in the US.
