NFT Debut | Introducing ‘Closed Reloop’

Super excited to Introduce our very first NFT 'Closed ReLoop', the first digital artwork, released as an NFT on Makersplace as part of their Genesis Group Show. This audiovisual creation is based on DOES's favorite paper collage ‘Closed Loop’, bringing the complex structure of the various layers of paper to life in 3D.

About our first NFT 'Closed ReLoop'

DOES is going full circle with this first digital artwork, based on his paper collage ‘Closed Loop’, bringing his carefully crafted paper artwork to life in 3D.

After more than 20 years of creating large colorful murals throughout the world he is recognized as a talented multidisciplinary artist, and he continues to move the boundaries of his own artistic research in new conceptual directions.

While taking a step back from his usual everyday rush and working from his home studio during the pandemic, he discovered further ways and materials to express his art. Seeing his kids cutting up paper and playing with glue, inspired DOES to create paper collages. The collages have been part of exhibitions from Paris to Atlanta and were received with great enthusiasm.

What is a NFT?

A unique digital creation that’s been digitally signed by DOES and uniquely identified on the blockchain. In a world where anything digital can be infinitely copied, a unique digital creation can only be owned by a single individual.

Every digital creation available through MakersPlace is an authentic and truly unique digital creation, signed and issued by the creator — made possible by blockchain technology. Even if the digital creation is copied, it won't be the authentic and originally signed version. Read full article HERE
