During my stay in Medellín, I was invited to create a commissioned canvas piece. After a long day painting in Comuna 13, I continued working late into the night in my hotel room and at Somos13 Gallery. The piece came together just in time—completed on my final day after twelve intense and inspiring days in the city. Shortly after, it was picked up from the hotel and made its way into the heart of Medellín. I titled the piece Selva Urbana, inspired by the city’s vibrant energy and the feeling of being immersed in a true urban jungle.
