On my final day in Medellín, I had the chance to paint in Comuna 6: Doce de Octubre. It was incredibly special to connect with local artists and feel the creative energy of the community. Doce de Octubre is located in the northwest of Medellín, bordered by Robledo to the south, Castilla to the east, the municipality of San Cristóbal to the west, and the city of Bello to the north. The neighborhood is known for its steep hills—some with an average incline of 20 percent—which also make it one of the most densely populated areas of the city.
The day began under bright blue skies, but by the afternoon it transformed into a heavy, dramatic rain—somehow the perfect ending to an unforgettable experience.
A huge thank you to everyone involved, and especially to Scott Ray George for traveling with me and capturing so many amazing moments along the way.
What a trip to remember!
