ANNIVERSARY SHIRT
Street art and football merge in DOES’s design of an anniversary shirt for the professional football club Fortuna Sittard celebrating its 50th anniversary.
As a former professional football player for Fortuna, the club topped DOES's list of influential companies to potentially collaborate with. Opportunity arose as the soccer club celebrated its 50th anniversary. Putting heads together Fortuna Sittard and DOES came up with the idea of an exclusive anniversary shirt designed by DOES.
THE PROCESS
ORIGINAL SKETCH
DOES placed the logo of the club in the centre of the shirt to represent Fortuna’s position as the very centre spot of the region Limburg.
FINAL DRAWING
The design of the shirt with its liquid lines in the bottom reflects the roots and foundation of the club.
FINAL DIGITAL SHIRT
Golden details complete the design as a festal nod to the jubilee of the club.
DOES x FS: FULL CIRCLE
For DOES this was a very special project as the club played an important role in his life. From watching games with his dad as a little boy to wearing the green-yellow shirt of the team himself while playing in the highest division. This is therefore not an assignment that DOES took lightly. He designed a shirt that is both a homage to the club and a piece of art from his heart. For DOES to design 'his' shirt for 'his' club is what completes the circle.
DOES x OUT OF
A unique collaboration between 'Out Of' and DOES is this special edition of the OPEN goggles. The edition of the brand's popular goggle with Zeiss lenses has been released to celebrate Out Of's first limited artist edition.
DOES x 1XRUN
DOES and 1XRUN released a colorful skate deck. The design is based on DOES's artwork titled ’Mood’. A limited edition of 50 decks was released and distributed through 1xRUN.
