Part 1: My First Time in Medellín — The City of Transformation

I was invited to Medellín, Colombia, to take part in the very first Art Biennale of Medellín — and I ended up spending almost 12 unforgettable days in this vibrant city.

Medellín is a place with a powerful story — a city that has faced dark times in the past but has transformed itself into a center of creativity, culture, and resilience. Being there for the first time felt truly special.

My biggest project during the trip was a mural at Medellín’s national football stadium — my first and largest wall in the city. It took me almost three days to complete, and every moment of it was worth it.

During those first days, I also had the chance to experience something I’ll never forget: a live football match between Deportivo Medellín and Junior. The energy in the stadium, the chants, the passion — it was pure South American football magic.

After finishing my wall, I took some time to explore and look for other spots in the city — each neighborhood offering something different, full of color, rhythm, and life.

This was just the beginning of a great trip. Next chapter coming soon…
