I am currently in Salzburg, Austria to be part of Spirit of art 2025.
Get ready for an explosion of creativity: Spirit of Art is back! After last year’s successful premiere, the urban art festival returns from October 3–5, 2025, promising to be even bigger, bolder, and more colorful than before.
Over 3,000 square meters of space will be transformed into a vibrant cultural playground featuring more than 60 national and international artists. Visitors can look forward to an eclectic mix of graffiti, painting, photography, sculpture, and crafts—alongside live DJs, bands, performances, street markets, gastronomy, and even a tattoo studio.
The venue, Handelszentrum 16 in Bergheim, offers the perfect backdrop for this multidisciplinary celebration. “It’s simply a dream location to present and experience urban art in all its forms,” says Salzburg-based object artist Nicola Suttner, co-founder of Spirit of Art together with graffiti artist Dominic Ivan (Afok) and multimedia creator Martin Keindl (Sayne One).
Their vision: to energize the urban art and cultural scene by bringing together artists from different disciplines and corners of the world. “Last year showed us how strong our community is,” explains Suttner. “We succeeded in gathering creators from all directions and giving them space to present their work within an exciting concept. By bringing art into public spaces, we’re also raising visibility for the culture that stands behind it.”
Spirit of Art isn’t just an exhibition—it’s an immersive experience, a meeting point for creativity, and a celebration of what happens when art, music, and community come together.
